Spring is always a magical time of year for anglers here on our island. The bait and birds become more and more prevalent each day as the water temperature rises. The surrounding waters of Kauai become alive with a mix variety of pelagic species moving into our ecosystem. It doesn’t matter your experience level Kauai offers some of the best and most memorable fishing experiences on the plant!
Fishing has been excelled the last few weeks. Bird piles chasing bait and fish blowing up in every direction has been the look on the water the last few weeks. Granted, somedays are harder to get them to cooporate than others but overall it’s been a glorious start to our deep sea fishing season here on the leeward side of Kauai.
Running out of the leeward side gives us the advantage when winds are typically blowing out of the north east. We get to play in some more protected waters off the island and also are first in the migratory path of the schools of tuna that make their way through Hawaii out of the north each Season.
