Had an epic day on the water today. As calm as it was fishing can be hard. We were fortunate to find some live baits earlier which paid off in several nice mahi mahi along the way. We also managed to pull off a nice blue marlin early in the game. Days like this are hard to beat here in the islands.
We look forward to this hunt every year. Spending hours shooting and training for months in preparation for the unforgiving terrain of the Rocky Mountains. These are a couple of our best from the past two seasons.
It’s very rare to find whale sharks here in Kauai waters. It got lucky with this guy and some mahi for dinner! Great day of Kauai fishing!
One of the rarest fish to catch here on kauai, we picked up a beautiful black Marlin the other day. Clients were elated and have a meneory of a lifetime to hang on their wall back home.
With fishing season still full swing, Kodi managed to sneak away for a couple days and chase mouflon sheep with his bow. With their incredible vision and diligence in survival sheep are one of the hardest animals to pursue with archery equipment. Years of practice and a lot of hard lessons learned, Kodi was able to close the distance an arrow a beautiful 29″ ram last weekend.
Then….straight back to the ocean!
